La ley de la causa y efecto es muy clara: Toda acción produce una reacción. Es decir, se cosecha lo que se siembra. Y luce que eso sucede en la comunicación interna.
Hace unos días realicé mi seminario en vivo CONEXIÓN INTERNA EMPRESARIAL, utilizando la herramienta ZOOM y para poder apoyar mejor mis posiciones, decidí hacer una encuesta acerca de la percepción en líderes o responsables de comunicaciones internas en sus compañías. El resultado no dejó de sorprenderme.
¿Los líderes se enfocan en la gente?
En mi experiencia del mundo corporativo y como consultor siempre escucho decir a los líderes de las empresas que su foco es la gente y que su prioridad es alinear a sus equipos de trabajo. Es el mayor activo de la compañía. Pero lo que me sucedió al ver la encuesta fue revelador. Los líderes o responsables de las comunicaciones internas opinaron mayoritariamente (71%) que no se hace comunicación interna de forma disciplinada o no se comunica alineado al propósito empresarial.
Es verdad que la comunicación interna no es la panacea ni mucho menos del clima organizacional, pero es un elemento empresarial que no podemos dejar al azar. Ya que colabora directamente en la motivación y el compromiso que tienen los empleados hacia los resultados del negocio.
La ausencia de planes de comunicaciones, enfocado en conversaciones, afecta directamente la productividad y la eficiencia; genera colaboradores desmotivados, produce malinterpretaciones de la realidad interna, así como malos entendidos y fricciones entre el personal y los departamentos.
La comunicación interna en Great Place to Work
Mi pensamiento en relación a este tema, se confirma cuando vemos que el Banco Galicia en Argentina, por ejemplo, fundamenta su buen ranking en Great Place to Work en buenas conversaciones entre los empleados.
Desde mi programa EMPRESAS QUE CONVERSAN, buscamos generar un nuevo pensamiento en relación a la importancia de las comunicaciones internas (basadas en conversaciones) y que además, se generen planes internamente para que sean producto de un valor emergente entre las partes actuantes de la empresa. No se trata de ser un consultor en esta área, sino de transferir conocimientos para que las personas que conforman la compañía, se empoderen y desarrollen sus propias conversaciones que generen resultados extraordinarios.
Es allí donde realmente cosecharemos lo que sembramos.
